Like its namesake, Patagonia's water-loving Merganzer Hat looks as good duck-diving waves as it does searching for them, with a brim rope that doubles as a stowable chin strap. Built of 96% NetPlus® postconsumer recycled nylon made from recycled fishing nets to help reduce ocean plastic pollution/4% spandex plain weave, with a durable water repellent (DWR) finish made without perfluorinated chemicals (PFCs/PFAS). Made in a Fair Trade Certified™ factory.

Sweatband: 2.3-oz 100% recycled polyester double knit with miDori™ bioSoft for added wicking and softness, and HeiQ® Mint odor control. Chin strap/brim rope: 5mm 68% nylon/32% spandex low-stretch elastic. Brim: 3mm floating EVA foam. Crown and bill fabric is certified as bluesign® approved. Made in a Fair Trade Certified™ factory
