It layers easily and has an insulated hood, plus smocked internal elastic cuffs keep out drafts. The shell fabric is built of NetPlus® 100% postconsumer recycled nylon ripstop made from recycled fishing nets to help reduce ocean plastic pollution, with a durable water repellent (DWR) finish made without perfluorinated chemicals (PFCs/PFAS) to resist light moisture. And it's insulated with 700-fill-power 100% Recycled Down (duck and goose down reclaimed from down products) for warmth. Made in a Fair Trade Certified™ factory.
